The Fremantle Street Arts Festival 2013 promises to be bigger and better than ever before. This year the popular festival will be running for three days over the Easter Long Weekend, Saturday 30th March till Monday 1st April, 2013.

Proudly brought to you be the City of Fremantle. the annual Fremantle Street Arts Festival is a showcase for entertainment of all kinds. Featuring a wide range of free family events and acts, both local and international, including busking, street theatre, comedy, circus acts , cabaret and much, much more.

The streets of Fremantle come alive with exciting, energetic music, movement and colour. Performers will amaze and astound as they appear on over ten stages around the Fremantle area.

Some of the Highlights of this years Fremantle Street Arts Festival will include:

The Chipolatas, back from the UK by popular demand, the Chipolatas bring an energetic mix of circus, music and theatrics to the streets of Fremantle.

Les Vitamines, from Canada, bring you lots of laughs with street theatre entertainment and amazing acrobatic skills.

Bilbobasso, from France, perform cabaret and Argentinean tango, combined with daring flame work.

Lords of Strut, from Ireland, provide an acrobatic, dance and comedy extravaganza.

Le due e un quarto, from Italy, perform a mischievous mix of street theatre and puppetry.

Grant Goldie, from the UK, performs amazing acts of gravity defying mystery as objects float in mid-air, move weightlessly unaided or stand by themselves.

Dado, from Canada, brings along a mix of weird and whacky world-class vaudeville entertainment, featuring props, physical comedy and improvisation.

Gabez, from Japan, spin, flip and burn up the pavement with their scorching synchronised dance moves.

Street Theatre Workshop. The Primitives, a Belgian street duo, will conduct a five-day workshop at the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre prior to the festival. This workshop will appeal to local performers looking to develop their skills.
