Looking for something different to do with the kids these school holidays?



Instead of the kids stomping around the house complaining they're 'bored', why not stomp with them right into Harbour Town for some free activities - this is something different too!



From Monday 13-17 January 2014 there are free fossil making workshops that will bring out their 'inner archaeologist'. Kids can excavate their own fossil rock and discover a variety of fossils, including dinosaur teeth and eggs. This activity will entertain, educate, stimulate and intrigue them at the same time.





The workshops will be at the front of Cotton On Mega Shop everyday at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Bookings are essential on (08) 8355 1144, as there are only 20 spaces per workshop. You need to be there 10 minutes prior to the commencement, and each session is 45 minutes.





After the fossil workshop why not take a walk to the front of Typo, and a talented artist will sketch a free caricature drawing of the kids.



The fun doesn't stop there. Why not have a coffee break and grab a bite at The Coffee Club . You can sit down, and while enjoying lunch, the kids can enter a colouring in competition for a chance at winning Coffee Club vouchers, movie tickets, gift packs, and posters to Walking With Dinosaurs.


The movie has been a huge hit with families taking audiences on a journey to see and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the earth. They can bring along their favourite colouring in pencils, paint or textas, and they can submit their entry on the day.

So there you go - another day filled with something exciting for the kids, it's free, and a chance to pick up some bargains at the same time.
