Craft has been serving up a platter of events to excite arts and craft enthusiasts and the public. There was the biggest craft and design festival, Craft Cubed , in Melbourne; New Craft showcased works for sale in Queen Victoria Market ; and Melbourne Town Hall hosted a pop-up shop . November will continue to showcase the best of Craft in Victoria with FREE public exhibitions by 3 of the finest ceramicists in Australia .



Kate Jones, Sarah O'Sullivan and Gerry Wedd have differing conceptual and material approaches. During an artist talk in October , they shared share insights into their art and ideas behind their exhibitions which runs till 29 November.

Kate Jones' 'Being' exhibition explores the space between traditional ceramics and abstract two-dimensional art. A new exhibition by Sarah O'Sullivan, 'Vestige' investigates how decoration is used in domestic ceramics. Gerry Wedd's 'Ceramics in Pots' exhibition explores the deep songwriting well of Melbourne. Admission to all 3 exhibitions are FREE.
