Free Kids Playground at Westgate Wonderland

CapitaMalls Asia's premier shopping centre in the western part of Singapore couples shopping and play with a playground that's more like an amusement park. The Westgate Wonderland located in Westgate is currently the largest rooftop mall playground at 11,000 square feet. Located on level 4 of the mall, it offers loads of fun for kids age 2 to 12 years.



The folks at CapitaMalls Asia created a themed fantasy and magical garden with a 10 metre high treehouse centerpiece surrounded by large-than-life replicas of flora and fauna including gigantic insects. It contains different play zones from children of varying age groups and a wet area with a huge watering can that sprays water.



At night the fantastic surroundings and musical flowers come alive with sound effects and special lighting. The requirement for entry is an adult must accompany children at all times.



Open daily from 10am to 10pm, there are so many fun options for kids. They can run around the garden, exploring the tree house and play hide and seek amongst the flowers and insects. There are hanging monkey bars, slides, see-saw and a rock climbing wall to help burn up excess energy.



Put on the swimmers and cool down from the heat and sweat by standing beneath the large watering can in the water play section. Like all free family venues, they can get very busy during the weekends so be prepared for large crowds and waiting time of 30 minutes to enter the Westgate Wonderland.



The child-friendly outdoor area also contains a Family Zone with an assortment of kids-orientated retailers and services. Located on the 5th floor is a Kids Club which offers an indoor club house with a reading corner containing books on loan from the National Library Board. It also features a 4,600 sq ft outdoor play area and supervised activities for kids 4 to 12 years.



Westgate Mall is directly connected to Jurong East MRT Station. If you're driving, park is free on weekdays between 12pm to 2pm. So grab the kids and head on down to Westgate near Jurong East where the playground is free, fun and family-friendly.
