Throughout the month of February, the IMAX theatre in Carlton is giving away free movie tickets. In a special promotion, called a '
Free Friend in Feb', they're allowing anyone to purchase one full-priced movie ticket, at any film session and then receive another one, absolutely free.
All you have to do to redeem the offer is visit the
IMAX website, download and print your '
Free Friend' voucher. On the night, when buying your ticket, present the voucher to the cashier. Both you and your friend will be allowed in, paying only for the price of one.
The IMAX movie screen is the third largest in the world. It stretches out over thirty two metres and is accompanied by intense surround sound. If you haven't experienced the awe and spectacle of cinema on such a mega screen, then this might be the month to try it.

public transport or in the car. The cinema will validate your parking, if you leave your car in their underground area. You'll receive a discounted parking price of $5.00 if you arrive after 5:00pm and pay $15.00 if you visit before 5:00pm.
