Here are some great events, festivals, activities, and places in Toowoomba to keep you entertained across the winter months.

Toowoomba's World Environment Day

The 2nd of June will be a celebration of the United Nations World Environment Day with stalls, performances, speakers, fun for the kids, and great food. Lake Annand Park at Mackenzie and Long Streets, will be full of people from 9.30am. Enquiries: (07) 4634 7693.

Toowoomba Languages and Cultures Festival

The 11th of August will be a big day with over 50 performances across three stages, and 100 stalls. This should keep the kids entertained. Children enter for free, and adults are gold coin entry. Japanese Gardens

One of the most peaceful and beautiful parks in Toowoomba is at the University of Southern Queensland on West Street, Darling Heights. The Japanese Gardens are just north of the campus, and are open daily from 7am to 7pm, and are free. Enquiries: (07) 4631 2627.
