Four is the preferred number here. A degustation menu with four rather than just three courses, Four Pillars and four divine cocktails.

For those not in the know, Four Pillars is a local small craft gin distillery in the Yarra Valley that has been awarded a Double Gold medal at the World Spirits Competition twice and a Gold at the Global Gin Masters 2016, and Gold at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Competition 2014. Although I don't think, despite their name they plan to stop at four.

It was a small company that began with crowdfunding and simply took off like a rocket.



It is made from botanicals such as juniper berries, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, lemon myrtle, Tasmanian pepper berry leaf, cinnamon, lavender, angelica, star anise and fresh oranges. The whole orange is used but distilled until all impurities are removed.

Intense!

The Bohemian a Spanish restaurant, where the dinner will be held is located in Melbourne's South Wharf and they are teaming up with Four Pillars to hold this very special gin dinner where guests will enjoy four courses



Each of the courses will be designed to complement the unique and complex flavours of Four Pillars Gin.



The cocktails will be made using Cousin Vera, Four Pillars Navy Strength, Spiced Negroni Gin and the infamous Bloody Shiraz Gin.

Bohemian is a Spanish influenced restaurant & bar serving modern flavour combinations with only the freshest produce to sit alongside traditional favourites like paella, tapas and house-made chorizo.



While the event is not until September, there are limited spaces so it is worth booking early.



The menu is still under wraps, but you can be sure Bohemian's Head Chef Gerard Rodriquez will develop a menu of unique and exciting flavours designed to complement the unique complexity of Four Pillars Gin.
