The major off track event at this year's Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix will be the Lenny Kravitz F1 Rocks concert. The awarding singer and song writer will be joined by The Cranberries and local favourites Wolfmother. This live music event is a great addition to the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix entertainment program and is the first F1 Rocks concert to be held in Australia. This event will take place at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March 2012.

It is also worth noting there is another live music event being held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March 2012; the Sidetracked Music Festival, which will feature Grandmaster Flash, Art vs. Science, The Potbelleez, The Stafford Brothers & Timmy Trumpet, Grant Smillie, Ruby Rose and more. The V8 Village is where you can meet and greet your F1 heroes and the grid girls. Plus have a go at the V8 simulator - where you can drift race.
Get off the track and head to Albert Park Lake for some stellar water events, such as the Extreme Water Stunt Show, or join in the Go Sailing program, hosted by the Boatshed.

One of the highlights of this year's Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix is the huge range of entertainment on offer. Just to give you an idea of the special events and attractions, here are some of the highlights;
The inaugural Crusty Demons Cup: Jacko Strong (AUS) vs. Kyle Loza (USA).
The thrilling Globe of Death Motorcycle Stunt Show.
The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix is a family event and this year there will be a dedicated area for children. One of the highlights of this area will be the Porsche Kids Drive School, which was a hit was year. Kids will get behind the wheel of a Porsche pedal car and drive the special track. There is also a theory component to this activity.
Another children's highlight is the Junior GP Challenge for children aged 3 to 6. The participants will drive F1 replica cars.
There will also be a golf course and various rides and attractions, including the 'Insanity and Bungy Sling Shot'.
