Now days, it's all about indulging in organic, fresh and gluten-free goodies and to celebrate it all is the
Food & Wine Aficionado festival at Castle Hill Showground from August 28-30.
With a gorgeous eco-friendly and natural outdoor setting, the three day event will focus on nothing but gourmet food and wine that is natural, seasonal and of course pesticide free.
Expect to dig into one of Steve’s bacon egg roll as he hosts a barbecue before tasting some sweet treats from
Sweet Infinity. You’ll also be travelling to Spain with
Your Spanish Affair who will be doing up traditional paella and a variety of tapas. And the best thing is, you’ll be eating without feeling guilty!
Rare, exotic and exquisite dishes will also be on show to be tasted and bought directly on the day from the producers themselves.
Even if you’re sceptical of whether organic food makes any difference to your diet, learn a thing or two at the food tasting and wine appreciation workshops.
Camel and pony rides will keep the kids happily entertained as you enjoy a performance by the Sydney Symphony & Conservatorium of Music.
There is on-site parking for $10 all day but Castle Hill Showground is also easily accessible via public transport.
