The Perth Folk and Roots Club supported by City of Swan, will be coming to the end of their series for 2017 with the final . This is a FREE event and will be held on Saturday 11th November from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at the Mechanics Institute Hall, 20 Meadow Street, Guildford.



The Perth Folk and Roots Club welcomes the performances from Leanne Bugat and Little Tree and are supported by John McNair and Keith Anthonisz.

Leanne Bugat, originally comes from Melbourne. She has been performing for many years, also performing in cover bands and many original songs as a solo performer for various functions and events. Leanne, having recorded her first album in 2005, also entered three songs into an international songwriting contest called Song of the Year. Receiving first place for her song "Without Condition". Her other two songs, "Smile" and "Heal the Child", were both finalists and all finishing within in the top four. Leanne has a voice that is very powerful and versatile - she has the ability to cover many genres from, Country, Rock and Roll, Jazz through to Pop. Leanne's songwriting comes from the heart and is true and honest as she writes with many people relating to her songs about life experiences. Her past performances at the Perth Folk and Roots Club have been warmly received by all.



Little Tree are Priscilla and Noreen and they are both locals from the Perth Hills. Priscilla and Noreen have previously performed in "Short and Sweet", a Hills based ukulele group for the Folk and Roost @ Guildford. Little Tree have produced two albums called "Desert Sun" and "Skylight", these being launched at the Kalamunda Hotel. They are currently busy working on a third album under Ladybird Music. In this incarnation, Priscilla plays guitar while Noreen sticks with ukulele and they both on vocals to entertain the audience with their original songs.

Keith Anthonisz, President of Perth Folk and Roots Club, welcomes all to come along and enjoy for the last time in 2017. He also welcomes musicians to come along and perform a few numbers in between sets.

This all sounds to be a wonderful evening, so come on down and have a night with the Perth Folk and Roots Club.
