Football is the world's most popular sport, played by millions in just about every country in the world.
On Saturdays and Sundays, a corner of Clapham Common is given over to the beautiful game, bringing a vast mix of people together who are looking for a competitive kick-around. This is where

FlexiFootball is an amazingly simple but truly original idea. Sometimes all you want is a decent game of football, right? – perhaps a bit more than a jumpers-as-goalposts session, but not so organised that you have to be a member of a team and commit to matches on a regular basis.
This is where FlexiFootball comes in. The organisers of FlexiFootball do all the organising for you – so you don't have to organise a thing.
All you have to do is go to their website,
put your name down for a match, and turn up. How difficult is that?
You'll get a kit, be put in an 11-a-side team, play for 90 minutes on full size pitches and have a real, living, breathing, running and whistling referee to keep order. It couldn't be more simple.
FlexiFootball would also be perfect for people who've just moved to the city, or for those visiting.
Matches take place every weekend, kicking off at 10.30am and 1.30pm.
Half the fun is that you never know who your team mates are going to be, and you have no clue about your opponents either.
It'll probably take a few minutes of a game to realise whether you're going to be slaughtered 10-0, or if you have a chance of doing the slaughtering. Then again, it might finish up 0-0....
All levels of fitness and ability are welcome. The main thing is to get out there and have a fun game of football.
