The organisers and participants would like you to join them in the beautiful Historic Fitzroy Town Hall where Australia's biggest Publishing companies, story creators and more will be on hand to showcase what they do best; share stories, help young people find their voice, and help develop the next generation of Australia's best-selling authors and illustrators.
If you are a parent, a book lover, a book creator, a writer, a bookseller or a person with many interests, please find some time in your busy Saturday to attend this festival and bring your little ones along.
Kids will be entertained throughout the day with face painting, roving performances and storytelling. Adults will be mesmerised by everything new in children's literature, illustration and book creation.
Also, if you are so inclined you can participate in various informative and interesting panel sessions with writers, illustrators and book sellers. For more information on these sessions, please go HERE.
There will be a Story Peddler Tent with coffee and many stories to tell and listen to. There will be creative writing workshops for those of us interested in writing for the young audience and there will be showcases for book sellers and publishers.
All things Children Literature will be covered under the ceiling of Fitzroy Town Hall. Everything starts at 10 am and runs to 4 pm on Saturday 22 April
Shhh. There will be many authors and book creators in attendance, so use this opportunity to meet them and get your books signed.
