The world is one huge book worth reading and I bet you won't put it down!

Grab your tackle and find a local watering hole, and no, not the alcoholic kind. Head out to experience the art of angling, and make sense of why so many are sucked in by the zing of a reel.

Fishing on the magic Macintyre River in Goondiwindi in a tinnie just after the lunch time sun settles reminds you what it means to really recoup. There's even a Little Bondi Beach up river that's never crowded and very inviting even if the fish aren't biting!

Call up the local fishing club when you get into town to get some tips on border fishing because you're right on the cusp of Queensland and New South Wales. But, even if you're a cane toad or a cockroach there's no divide on board when you're having a ball hauling in a Yellow Belly or a mighty Murray Cod.
