There are several fishing charters available that offer day and night fishing trips throughout New York City.

Atlantis Princess, is located in Staten Island, New York. Just hop the ferry and ride over to the Island in time to catch the full-day or half-day charter. Morning charters leave at 8:00 AM, while afternoon charters on the half-day schedule leave at 1:00 PM. If you fish all day, you return to dock at 3:00 PM; if you fish for a half-day, you fish from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the morning or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the afternoon.
If you have kids, Mondays are free fishing day for children. If you want to go night fishing, catch the Friday night charter that lasts from 7:00 PM until midnight.
The charter boats go to such good fishing areas as along the Hudson River, the Ambrose Channel, Raritan Bay, and Sandy Hook. If luck is with you, you should have no problem catching something.
