Besides being passionate about supporting emerging talent, the organisers are conscious of the need to keep things fresh and exciting so they make a point of rotating and introducing new exhibitors each market. So even if you've visited these markets before, you're guaranteed a new and unique experience. Products on offer range from exquisite hand crafted jewellery to clothing, original artworks, home and garden wares, and everything in between.
After you're shopped out, chill out in the garden bar and cafe, soaking up the sounds of live music and the relaxed festival feel. Food vendors at the July markets included coffee and poffertjes, japanese, Kate's Vegetarian, a bagel stall and a paella and bratwurst stall.
The Autumn/Winter market is set for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July, and the Spring/Summer market for the weekend of 16th and 17th November. Opening times are 10.00am - 4.00pm each day.
Entry is now $2 and parking is available at RNA for $12 from 9.00am - 5.00pm. On street parking can be found close by if you're lucky, or if you want to PT it the Bowen Hills or Brunswick St train stations are a mere 10 minute walk away.
