This October, the Inner West Council presents the '' event in the suburbs of Ashfield and Summer Hill over two separate days:



Ashfield's Tastes of Asia

Ashfield is home to a number of popular Asian restaurants along its main street and aims to showcase the cuisines that they represent, in addition to the other food flavours represented in Ashfield that include Indian, Nepalese and Vietnamese.

To accompany the food will be more than a dozen entertainment acts in the Civic Centre Forecourt and also along Liverpool Road.

Summer Hill's Neighbourhood Feast

This will be a fun food-centric street party in the quaint town centre of Summer Hill. This will involve cooking demonstrations, food and market stalls, and a pizza-eating contest to name a few things.

There will also be free activities for the kids as well, including a jumping castle and a petting zoo.
