The inaugural Fantastic Asia Film Festival (FAFF) will be held at Cinema Nova from Thursday November 10 to Sunday November 13. The event program is action packed to say the least; over four days there will be numerous feature film feature premières, Q and A sessions and special double bill screenings.
No less than twenty feature films will be screened during FAFF - highlights of the eclectic film program include;
The family film Ninja Kids!!! (2010), the latest feature film from acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike, who is probably best known for the controversial Ichi the Killer (2001) and most recently Sukiyaki Western Django (2007) and 13 Assassins (2010).
The Yellow Sea (2010), the acclaimed crime thriller from South Korean film director Na Hong-jin, who previously directed The Chaser (2008).
Let the Bullets Fly (2010), an action comedy starring Chow Yun Fat, directed by Jiang Wen.

In addition to the exciting film program, an Opening Night Party will follow a special Q and A event with Yoshihiro Nishimura and Marc Walkow, co-director of the New York Asian Film Festival. The Opening Night Party will be held at the Luwow Bar (62 – 70 Johnston St, Fitzroy).
