5. Mirror Mirror
The classic Grimm fairy-tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs gets a new twist with Mirror Mirror. After being banished by the Evil Queen, princess Snow White finds friendship in the form of 7 dwarfs who help her fight back for what is rightfully hers. Starring Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lily Collins as Snow White, the storyline takes many twists and turns and finally arrives to a very entertaining end. The beautiful costumes and breathtaking visuals make this movie charming and delightful.





4. The Lorax
This movie adaptation of the classic children's book written by Dr. Suess is a sure shot win with the kids. The Lorax tells the tale of a 12 year old boy, Ted (voiced by Zac Effron) trying to find trees in a town where there are none left. This cautionary tale brings forth the important message about saving the environment and controlling our growing obsession with consumerism. The colourful sets, cute characters and strong story makes this a must see with the family.




3. The Pirates! Band of Misfits
The Pirates!Band of misfits is Aardman Productions latest stop motion flick. Pirate Captain (voiced by Hugh Grant) and his crew set out on a crazy adventure to try and win the Pirate of the year award by defeating their bitter rivals. Beautifully animated with great characters, this movie is all about friendship and heart. With plenty of laughs and an interesting story, this movie is certainly one to watch with the family.





2. Beauty and the Beast 3D
This classic Disney movie from 1991 is now available to watch in 3D. Belle is a simple girl living in a small town in France. Her father gets captured by the Beast and in-order to free her father, she offers herself as a prisoner. With catchy songs such as "Be our guest" and "Gaston" as well as the love ballad "Beauty and the Beast", Beauty and the Beast is sure to entertain the child in all of us. This timeless movie is undoubtedly one of Disney's finest films, which is always entertaining to watch.





1. The Avengers
One of 2012's most anticipated movie, The Avengers is a must see with the family. Featuring some of Marvel's finest superheros such as the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and others, this action packed film is all entertainment. When Earth's security is threatened by Loki and his allies, Nick Furry of S.H.I.E.L.D brings together the greatest superheros to save the world. With fantastic direction by Joss Whedon and strong acting by a great cast, The Avengers is definitely a must see this weekend.
