The Paving Project @ Eumundi Markets is a special public art project which involves carving unfired pavers. The pavers will then be fired and laid to form pathways within the market precinct.
Michael Ciavarella, a Sunshine Coast artist and ceramic teacher, approached Eumundi Markets after establishing similar, successful projects at
Woodford Folk Festival and Cooroy.

Funded by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council's Cultural Development Grants program, participation in this project is free.
The carving workshops began on Wednesday, January 18 and will continue every market day (Wednesdays and Saturdays) until 2500 pavers have been carved.
