Eastern Creek Raceway.
Private practice sessions are held throughout the year, for both cars and motorbikes. It costs anywhere from $85 to $145 for the privilege of being able to zoom around the
famous circuit in your own vehicle. As

Confederation of Australian Motor Sport license.
The
Drive & Ride Days are an adaptation on that theme. These combine practice sessions with expert tuition, imparting visitors with some valuable pointers, while providing them “ample opportunity to drive around Eastern Creek Raceway with no speed limits imposed.” The different formats should cater to most tastes, whether you’re a novice or an experienced driver, or whether you’re looking for some private thrills or a corporate event.
True revheads can make their wildest fantasies come true with a
V8 Race Experience. Starting from $299, you get to roar around the track in an actual V8 racer for five laps. After being given a thorough briefing, you’ll receive a race suit, a helmet, an in-car coach, your choice of Holden or Ford- and then be let loose!
But if
training is more your thing, don’t fear. Eastern Creek’s qualified instructors- with a little help from the
skid pan and
skid circuit- can put you through defensive driving and advanced driving courses. The former is designed to develop “defensive driving skills and highlight driver awareness”; the latter “to manage loss of control situations through repetitious practice along with minimal theory sessions.”
