[ADVERT]Hop into the city this Easter for these eggciting events. There is something to please everyone, especially children and chocoholics.

Treat the kids to some Easter fun on the mall, spoil yourself with a chocolate feast, or venture to Vintaged Bar and Grill with the family for a special Easter lunch.
[SECTION]Easter Holiday Fun @ Queen Street Mall[/SECTION]

Kids can kick start the school holidays at Woolworth's Eggventureland. From Saturday, March 31 until Monday, April 9, the Easter Bunny will be hopping by the Queen Street Mall Stage area with some Easter entertainment. Between 10am and 2pm daily, kids can collect eggs from a crazy contraption or play croquet with the Easter Bunny and his special friends.

On Tuesday, April 3, from 11:00am until 1:30pm, Rapt in Reptiles will give the rugrats a chance to get up close and personal with some reptiles big and small.

Orphan Annie and friends will be making a special appearance on Thursday, April 12, at the Queen Street Mall Stage. Stars of 'Annie The Musical' will be singing several show tunes including 'Tomorrow' and 'It's a Hard Knock Life'. They will perform at 12pm and 1pm.

[SECTION]Chocolate Buffets[/SECTION]


Easter and chocolate are synonymous. Indulge yourself this Easter at one (or both) of these chocolate buffets.

Berkley's on Ann (255 Ann Street) will be hosting an Easter Chocoholics Inc. Indulgent High Tea. This Easter feast includes finger sandwiches, sweet and savoury pastries, profiteroles, meringues, cakes, fresh fruit, and - the pièce de résistance – a chocolate fountain. Cost is $32 per person and includes a glass of sparkling wine, pot of tea, or espresso coffee. The dates for the chocolate buffet are Thursday, March 22 to Saturday, March 24 and Thursday, March 29 to Saturday, March 31; from 2pm until 4pm. Bookings are essential.

Bistro Allure at The Sebel King George Square (corner of Ann and Roma Streets) is famous for its Easter Chocolate Buffet . This year's chocolate buffet runs from Monday, April 2 until Sunday, April 15. Chocoholics will be able to choose chocolate sauces, cheesecakes, slices, tarts, cakes, and puddings. The chocolate lunch buffet runs from 12pm to 3pm while the chocolate dinner buffet is from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Cost is $20 per person and bookings are highly recommended.

Easter is about spending time with your loved ones. Treat your family this Easter with fine dining at Vintaged Bar and Grill. Located on the sixth level of the recently refurbished Hilton Hotel (190 Elizabeth Street), this new venue is planning a special Easter Sunday lunch; April 8 from 12pm until 3pm.

Diners will be treated to a three-course seasonal menu including breads, seafood, charcuterie , and a choice of chicken, scotch fillet, salmon or lamb. Lunch will be followed with a Vintaged dessert plate. Cost is $75 per adult which includes a glass of sparkling wine specially selected from the Vintaged wine room. Cost for children (aged 5 to 12) is $40 while children under five are free. Reservations are essential.
