A hidden gem in the bowels of the food hall at Chadstone City Shopping Centre located at 1341 Dandenong Road, Chadstone.

One can watch fascinated, through the large windows, at the deft fingers flying through the pastry and moulding hundreds of absolutely light and fresh dumplings. All perfectly sized and consistent, they would make Master Chef proud.

With affordable food hall prices between $5 and $11, it's a no brainer to have a sit down meal of the freshest lightest dumplings.



There are three sections at this favourite eatery of mine. There's the usual Bain-Marie of Chinese food combinations like sweet and sour, fried rice and so on.

Then there's the dumpling section where you can buy (did I mention beautiful and light) prawn dumplings, vegetarian dumplings and many other varieties; steamed and fried.

The third section is where one orders a full meal cooked to order, all between 9 and 11 dollars. I go back time and again for my favourite Seafood Curry Laksa.
