This weekend teams of intrepid paddlers, who have been enduring early morning training sessions for months, will be racing each other in colourfully decorated dragon boats around Darling Harbour.
It's a spectacle which hundreds of thousands of people turn out to see each year, and rightly so, it really is quite a sight.
The races are being run from 8am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
