After ten years Victor Bray and his 3000plus horsepower Top Door Slammer is heading back Adelaide. If you love the smell of burning rubber or the thunder of supercharged engines, Adelaide is bringing it back.

26th November 2011 is the date for the first 1/8th mile Drag Racing meeting. Fuchs Centennial 1/8th mile Challenge will present Victor Bray with his 57 Chevy, Peter Kapiris in a 59 Chrysler, Ben Bray driving a Holden Monaro and other Group 1 Door Slammer legends for the first time in almost a decade.

This event will have so much more including showcase street cars, Motor bikes, funny cars. It's great to see Drag Racing back in South Australia, and I for one will be making the effort to get there from Brisbane. To entice spectators, which shouldn't be hard.

They are giving away a 50 inch Plasma TV. All you have to do is purchase a entry ticket and you will go into the draw that will take place at 6:00pm on raceday. The winner will be announced at the track.
