Today, I accidentally found a really cool place for kids to hang out during the school holidays.

I was looking for a dog park in Beenleigh that I had heard of, and ended up stumbling upon a massive outdoor wonderland that had something for kids of all ages.



I walked my dog through the park, along the hundreds of metres of cement path, which wound around and over the duck filled waterways. We passed numerous kids playgrounds and sporting fields. At several points along the path, there were work-out stations with fitness equipment.


We found plenty of undercover picnic areas, some had BBQs and there were toilets near the entrance to the park.



also has state-of-the-art skate and BMX facilities. There were dirt BMX tracks, bitumen BMX/ Skate tracks and various sized half-pipes catering for all skill levels.



I eventually found the dog park that I was looking for at the nearby Logan River Parklands.
