is a great spot for young and old children. There is small equipment that babies and toddlers will happily use, and large equipment for older children to explore. It is a nice place to head to with the family, where you can picnic and play.

The main play area consists of large undercover equipment. It is easy enough for younger children to enjoy, but it also has enough challenges for older children to stay entertained. The winding slide is more fun than your usual options, and there are climbing frames, monkey bars, and swings for everyone to enjoy. One of the best parts of the large play area is the roundabout, something often forgotten at modern playgrounds. This is fun for both kids and adults, so mum and dad can get in on the action too.

There are two smaller cubby house style play areas that are perfect for children. One mimics a much larger playground, but is short and small, perfect for toddlers. It features a slide that comes down onto the sandpit, meaning even more fun. There is also a separate sandpit for kids to play with, bring along buckets and spades and they'll entertain themselves building giant castles or miniature villages. The smaller of the play areas is just a small cubby that children will enjoy playing with.

There is plenty of open space at Dora Gild, so there is lots of room for everyone to run around. Bring along a footy or a soccer ball, and enjoy a friendly game on the grass. There is plenty of room so you don't have to worry too much about kicking your ball over anyone's fence.

The grass is also a nice place for setting up a picnic. Put down a blanket on the grass, and you can guard, and enjoy, the food while the children go play. There are also picnic tables if you'd prefer to set up your lunch there. Unfortunately there are no barbecues, but there are toilets in case of any urgent emergencies.

has got some excellent play areas, aimed at children of all ages. The whole family would be able to find something fun to do here. Bring everyone along and spend a few hours running around in the sun.

If you're looking for more parks and playgrounds in the area take a look at the map on the Unley City Council Website .
