Melbourne loves donuts and the trend continues (please don't ever end!) with the latest addition to the city's never-ending food festivals - . And, a gold coin donation is all it'll take to get you into this Homer Simpson heaven.



This heavenly happening over the Labour Day long weekend on Sunday 12 March 2017 will feature all the tried and tested favourite donuts from Melbourne's best donut and food vendors, as well as some brand new flavours.



Being hosted at the beer garden, The Village, you won't go thirsty, with boutique beers and your regular tipple being readily available. In addition, coffee stands will have you covered on the caffeinated beverage front if you're more traditional about your food and drink pairing.

There will be a giant donut wall - I can only make an assumption as to what that actually means and guess we'll have to go to find out - and all the donuts a donut-obsessed person will ever need.



And, you'll be drinking beer and eating donuts for charity. The event will be raising funds for local charity, Eat Up. Eat Up makes and delivers hundreds of lunches a month to schools in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs to feed impoverished school children to ensure they get the nutrition they need to concentrate. Listen to your tastebuds and listen to your heart and take yourself for some donuts and beer. It's the right thing to do.
