Drawing is an underappreciated form of art when compared to it's more colourful painting cousin, however it can have just as great an impact.

The constraints of the medium allow the artist to explore the more imaginative aspects of their art more freely (or so I've been told).

To see some of the best contemporary drawing don't miss the 2008 Dobell Prize for Drawing which is on at the Art Gallery of NSW until the the 9th of November (this Sunday).
