The National Museum of Australia will be hosting school holiday activities between Monday to Thursday 10th –13th April and from Tuesday to Friday 18th –21st April. Take a short guided tour of some of the National Museum's unique nature collections and kids can experiment with natural materials to make their own nature journal to take home. Kids can also contribute to a large collaborative artwork created by the Museum's artist-in-residence, Julie Ryder.

There are two sessions daily: 10–11.30am and 11.30am–1pm. The cost is $10 per child.

Also, later in the afternoon between 2pm –3.30pm, kids can play in the free Afternoon Play Space with self guided activities.
