For a fun twist on dinner and drinks, consider a dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour.

If you google "dinner cruise Sydney Harbour", you will be inundated with numerous companies offering dinner with the best views in Sydney. There are many different types of cruises including dinner cruises that depart nightly, meaning that you do not need to fill an entire boat to embark on a cruise.

A dinner cruise is a great idea for any kind of party. Keep it in mind next time you're organising a work function, a fundraiser, a birthday or engagement party, a hen's night, a buck's night or a uni party. A dinner cruise would also make for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends.

There are endless options.

For example, Captain Cook Cruises have a whole range of dinner cruises including the Sunset Dinner which includes canapes, a two course meal and wine for around $85 per person. They also offer a Starlight Dinner with three courses and wine for around $99. For a little bit extra you can enjoy an unlimited open bar.

For something more upbeat, Captain Cook offer the Cruise Viva which is a Spanish themed dinner cruise. This means a mojito or Corona on arrival, tapas dinner and a "Rumba beat" DJ. The tapas includes chorizo, garlic prawns, marinated octopus and grilled spiced chicken. The cruise is approximately $138 per person and includes unlimited wine, beer, sangria and soft drink.

Sydney Showboats also offer an entertaining dinner cruise with showgirls, a magician and an hour long Cabaret show. There is an a la carte menu and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. This cruise is currently on sale but only for a limited time.

Another company, Magistic, have a dinner cruise onboard a $5million catamaran. This cruise includes a seafood buffet and, for an additional fee, an unlimited open bar. You can also add ensured window seating for an extra $16 per person. This cruise starts at around $66 but prices spike in peak season.

If you are looking for a cruise for a special occasion, Vagabond have a range of special event cruises including Valentine's Day, Christmas and Melbourne Cup cruises.

Most of the cruises depart from King St Wharf. Enjoy the best views of Sydney over a meal and drinks in the good company of your friends, family or partner.
