Have you ever seen so many beers in one place? Probably not!
With around 500 bottled beers and ciders from around the world to choose from, what more could you want?
The humongous range of beers comes from near and far. Of course there's a good selection of Australian beers. Imported beers come from Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Mauritius, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norwegian, Polish, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, UK, USA, to name a few.
A fully fledged bottle shop selling anything you might want to take home or back to your holiday lodgings, accompanied by a truly delectable alfresco menu which will have you eating here more than once.
The menu includes a variety of platters. Choose from a decadent Seafood Platter for two; Mediterranean Meats, Salamis, Breads & Dips; a Gourmet Cheese Platter; or be adventurous and order the Aussie Platter, which includes Emu, Kangaroo and Crocodile.
Of course there's seafood: oysters, rock salt calamari, Fresh Beer Battered Fish Fillets & Chips, Pan Fried Scallops Wrapped in Pancetta, and someĀ great tasting plates that can be shared such as duck pancakes and lamb meatballs with a yoghurt dipping sauce.
The menu is extensive and the food is beautifully prepared and presented. Quality of ingredients and care in preparation is evident.
You'll surely want to try their extensive wine and beer selections to accompany your meal. There are some excellent choices of wines by the glass.
Follow that with a selection or two from the dessert menu and finish off with a coffee before heading off for an afternoon stroll or nap.

If that's not enough to excite you, the location will. Denman Cellars is perfectly positioned at the new Port of Airlie, perched on the edge of the Marina with expensive yachts and power boats beckoning owners to take them out for the day. The expansive view looks even better if you book in upstairs in the
Portside Apartments for your holiday getaway. A weekend might be enough as it's only a short flight from Cairns, Brisbane or Sydney. You can either fly into Hamilton Island and take the half hour Fantasea ferry from the Airport to Shute Harbour, or fly to Proserpine which is a short 20 minute taxi ride.
You'll feel like you've been away for a week - its so relaxing.
