Dendy Cinemas is a national art house cinema chain with theatres in Sydney, Canberra, Byron Bay and Brisbane. The Dendy is known for promoting a variety of cinema and film genres such as mainstream releases, little known art house films, 2D and 3D movies and cult classics, and also hosts a variety of national and international film festivals each year.

Portside Wharf. This locations facilities include five cinemas, surround sound, stadium seating and a fully licensed bar. The venue is wheelchair accessible and provides uncover parking for up to 300 cars. Dendy Portside plays new release, art house and international films. There is usually a better selection at the Dendy, as it has more cinemas than some other independent movie theatres in Brisbane.

Membership is $18 for an adult for one year or $14 for students and seniors.
