Curry Vault is a fine place for a relaxed meal within the Melbourne CBD; it's nested in a cosy lane off Collins Street. The restaurant serves excellent modern and traditional Indian cuisine while the
bar offers a huge selection of red, white, sparkling, fortified and dessert wines, apart from other non-alcoholic beverages.
The food (available in
à la carte and
banquet menu) is fresh, tantalising and excellent in taste. The restaurant also offers excellent vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Make sure you save some appetite for 'gulab jamun' - one of the most popular Indian desserts.
There's an outdoor dining space too. The service is good.
Bookings are advised.
