Market junkies rejoice. There's a brand new player in town. The
Cumberland County Fair is Sydney's hottest new market to be held at Parramatta Stadium every Sunday from 9 am till 3 pm. It's expected to become the most popular market in Sydney.
Come one come all
Cumberland County Fair has been organized by
Bazaar Marketing, a team that has managed over 250 markets and festivals from regular weekly turn-outs to major once-a-year events including
Big Day Out,
Newtown Festival and the already sold out
V Festival. With those sorts of events under their belt, the Cumberland County Fair can be nothing but a hit.
For the last few months, publicity has been heavy for the markets. It has been listed on tourist websites, all the NRL sign boards at Parramatta home games are spreading the word, and over 20,000 flyers have been circulated.
It promises to be a day of fun with free family entertainment, amusement rides, fresh produce stalls, hand made arts and crafts, fashion, and more. Pick up some unique memorabilia and collectibles or visit the flower market. You'll love the fact that entertainment will be a key factor here, with local and international artist performing. For those who love vintage clothing and jewellery, you won't be disappointed. There will be Fair Trade and Eco stalls, massage and healing stalls and for those who just need to know - there will be tarot and clairvoyant stalls too.

Of course there will be an International food fair with all your favourite world flavours including Indian, Asian, Turkish, Italian, Indonesian, Mexican and more.
