is a small friendly café in the heart of sleepy Keperra. It has an eclectic mix of furniture with the counter made from two old doors.
The blackboard lists the salads, waffles, coffee beans and specials of the day. The menu changes every couple of months. The café has an all-day breakfast menu. I am fond of their feta cheese and avocado on toast, but I wish it was a little less expensive. I regularly enjoy their breaky burger for twelve dollars. They also serve all types of toast, croissants, oatless bircher and eggs your way on toast. The café uses free range eggs and there are gluten free options.
The day I went I tried the corn fritters with roasted tomato, bacon, avocado, seasoned sour cream and rocket for $14 The fritters were light and fluffy, and delicious with everything on the plate added altogether.
Other options on their menu are ideal for lunch like the lamb burger or the pulled pork burger. There's a small fridge near the counter which is stocked full of bottles of cold brew coffee.
There's the regular selection of drinks ranging from coffee, tea, smoothies, juices to iced latte. You can have your coffee in a number of different filter brew methods, such as Aeropress, V60, Chemex and Brewover. The café serves coffee from Baxter and Sons Roasters operating nearby in Everton Hills and Chamellia certified organic tea. There are alternative milk options like almond, soy and lactose free for those who are dairy intolerant.
has become a firm favourite café of mine specialising in good coffee and freshly made dishes.
