Courage to Lead® is a fully-inclusive, residential, facilitated retreat program for people who want to enhance what leadership means in their lives and deepen the trust and integrity from which leadership emerges.Developed by the Centre for Courage & Renewal, Courage to Lead® is for people working in private and/or public organisations, community or organisational volunteers, the self-employed and anyone who wants to sustain authentic leadership practice within a broad collaborative definition of leadership (includes all aspects of life, motherhood, fatherhood, community work).Held from Friday 4th to 6th of September, 2015 at Cope Williams Winery, participants are invited to bridge their inner and outer worlds using poetry, nature, art, and various wisdom traditions as guides.The program is hosted by Courage & Renewal® Facilitators who use the Circle of Trust® approach to enable a "safe space" that welcomes the true self. Individually and in various group settings, participants will have the opportunity to: Reflect and re-charge Focus on one's own pressing work and life questions Support other's personal and professional development Celebrate one's gifts and acknowledge one's limitations Practice deep listening Find the courage to live in congruence with one's values and to help communities/organisations do the sameThe retreat is an all-inclusive package and is priced at $600 pp (residential (single occupancy) and meals).
