There are a number of ice cream options on Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn. It's worth making your way to the Barkers Road end and trying out "Cones".

The gelati is made daily and there is a range of unusual flavours including snickers, tim tam and bubblegum. The prices start from $3.80 and well worth it.

As well as ice cream, Cones sells frozen yogurt, smoothies, coffee, sundaes, crepes and an amazing range of ice cream cakes made to order. The ones I viewed were true works of art.

Sorbets are 100% fat free and the ice cream and yogurts contain 6% fat and all natural ingredients. Therefore you have an excuse to get a sundae!

Being vegan, I was delighted to see that all dietary or allergy needs can be accommodated with gluten free, diary free, nut and egg free flavours. I enjoyed a delicious chocolate sorbet.

There is indoor and outdoor seating. Make the most of the sunshine and have an ice cream in the sunshine.
