All live comedians and music shows
If you've enjoyed The Comedy Club at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne, you can enjoy the same entertainment at it's
sister club in Melbourne's outer east. For those of us living on this side of the city it's great to see well known comedians live on stage without having to make the 2 hour round trip into Melbourne.
We were lucky enough to see Akmal earlier on this year and this last Saturday night we saw Bruno Lucia, John Burgos and Christine Basil.
As with all stand up comics and live venues, you take a chance on how funny they are going to be. My experience at The Comedy Club has been two out of three ain't bad. Plus you can have dinner and watch the show for $50. If it's just the show the cost is $35.
Special attractions coming up include Grand Final Eve with free entry if you come dressed in footy colours, Joe Camilleri and the black sorrows are playing on October 8th, Trick or Treat Night for Halloween on October 29th, and on November 18th Chic-ultimate girls night out.
My only complaint with the Knox venue is you have to be careful where you sit. Try and get seating directly in front, not off to the side where the bar is. There is a most inconvenient pole in the way and the sound over that side of the room isn't the best.
