Clearwater Crescent Park may not offer hours of fun to everyone, but if you're looking for some big open space then you'll find it here. For sport lovers looking for a place to practice, or picnickers looking for a secluded spot, make Clearwater Crescent the place to go.

The park is perfect for those looking to play some ball games, it is essentially a large area of lawn free from trees where you or the kids can just run around. There are no goals on the space, which means you wont have to compete for the space with sporting teams like you will find at some ovals. You can have a friendly soccer match, or just have a kick of the footy. There are two benches that are in the perfect spot for parents or friends to sit as spectators while the players have their game.

The wide open space can be great for lots of other fun games.Try making a kite with your kids and bringing it here to fly, without any trees for your kite to get tangled in. Or try throwing the frisbee with your kids or the dog. Take your kids here and help them remember that they can use their imagination to have a fantastic time, and that they don't always need electronics or play equipment. You could also set up a game of foursquare on the small paved area.

Head outside and enjoy the fresh air that you'll find at Clearwater Crescent Park, it is a far way from the city centre and away from hustle and bustle. Kids can practice their soccer or footy skills, or let the kids get some fun exercise out in the open.

This is a quiet spot, that isn't always as busy as some of the other parks. This is great if you're looking for a secluded space to have a picnic. There are no picnic tables, so make sure you pack a blanket to enjoy your lunch on the grass.

If you are looking for somewhere that has a playground, or more facilities, then check out the Onkaparinga City Council website to find more parks and reserves in the area. There are plenty of parks nearby, so you could head to Clearwater Crescent Park for a kick of the footy before moving on to another park to fire up the barbecue or climb on the playground.
