The
Circus Royale is coming to town, and you are invited to see the show of talent and skill.
There will be plenty of animals, acrobats, clowns, national and international acts as well for a whole 2 hour show. For over 40 years, Circus Royale has been continuously touring Australia and are rightly known as Australia's premier circus. Founded in 1971, Circus Royale has entertained thousands of people, both young and old, and is currently owned by a family of Australians, the primary owner being Australia's youngest circus owner. The owner also happens to be the ringmaster and takes a hand-on approach in the operation of the circus.
Special acts exclusive to the Circus Royale are the performing cows and Australia's only Man in the Bottle. There will also be circus classics showing, including the Globe of Death, trapeze artists and clowns. The Circus Royale combines comedy, skill and fun rolled into one Big Top tent; so head to the Circus Royale for a fun day out.
There will also be several circus shops around the Big Top where you can purchase novelties, souvenirs, hot and cold food, and drinks as well. Tickets are available both on-site at the ticket office and also
online. Discounts are available for students (concession) and seniors (for infants under 2 years old admission is free). Also note that children aged 2 to 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult or student at least 15 years of age. Those planning to attend the circus are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the show.
The Circus Royale will be held at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds and will be showing from January the 25th till February 5th. Show timings are available on the
