The Cilento Bushland Conservation Reserve is in Waterfall Road, Nambour, off Mapleton Road, across from the Nambour Hospital. It is a small park with a kids' playground, barbecue and toilet amenities. It has a few car park spaces in front as well as on Waterfall Road.

It is a park out front, but enter one of two walking trails on either side of the park and you'll find a bush backdrop, rocks, streams, a waterfall, and a swimming hole. The tracks are unpaved but not too muddy, even in wet weather. Do take care on the rocks as they can be slippery. There's a small jump across from the rocks back to the trail or vice versa, depending on which trail you start with. The bushwalk goes in a loop from one trail to the other and back to the park.

The bushland has a tall canopy of trees and it is green and lush with many palm trees, which give it a sub-tropical feel. A pair of binoculars is a good idea for those who want to do a bit of bird watching. The attraction is the waterfall and billabong in the middle of the reserve. The water can be brown and muddy on some rainy days, but it can also be clean and dark just after a few days of rain.

The waterfall is officially called Robinson Falls and was named in honour of early settlers and brothers Edmund Alfred and Arthur Campbell Robinson. They owned and farmed land in Tucker's Creek, which flows into where the waterfall is located.

The 10.5 hectares of land where Cilento Reserve is now located had been donated by Sir Ralph and Dame Phyllis Cilento to Maroochy Shire Council in 1952. The Cilentos were both prominent Sunshine Coast medical practitioners from old Mooloolaba families. They were also parents to Diane Cilento, who was an Australian theatre and film actress in the 1950's and 1960's. She was better known as actor Sean Connery's first wife. Cilento Reserve's historical value lies in it being a World War II memorial. It was occupied by the 7th Battery 2/4th field artillery during that war.

Camping is not allowed in the park or bushland and the Council doesn't recommend its use at night. Cilento Conservation Reserve is a nice and short bushwalk in Nambour on the way to the Hinterland.
