High, low, anywhere you go, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang we love you - be prepared to be delighted and hum those songs all over again.

In an amazing feat, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is alive as a multi million dollar production which to this date is the the longest running musical ever to play at the London Palladium.

Nominated for three Olivier Awards, five Tony Awards, ten Outer Critics Circle Awards and four Drama Desk Awards. It may surprise you to know that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang also has the Guinness World Record for the most expensive stage prop in the history of British Theatre.

Wow - that's surely something to look forward to!

Presented by Tim Lawson of TML Enterprises, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is based on the 1968 MGM film - directed by Rodger Hodgman (Grey Gardens).

Audiences will love the music and lyrics of the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins) and even better, with an all Australian cast as we see Old Chitty fly through the air in this amazing family musical production.

After opening at the London Palladium to rave reviews on Tuesday 16 April 2002, the show was nominated for 3 Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Musical. It became the longest running musical ever to play at the London Palladium, beating Oliver! and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. During its three and a half year run, the family musical exceeded £70 million in box office revenue.

The production also received 5 Tony Award nominations, 10 Outer Critics Circle Award nominations and 4 Drama Desk nominations during its Broadway run at the Hilton Theatre.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will spread her wings into the Capitol Theatre, Sydney from November 16 2012 and to Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne from January 30 2013.
