Event: 21/02/2010
As a part of 3 week long Chinese New Year Festival the popular Twilight Parade will be drumming into town on the 21st February between 7:45pm and 9:45pm on the streets extending from Town Hall to Chinatown. The parade ends with a fireworks display over Darling Harbour.

The parade fills Sydney streets with lights, lanterns, music, colour and dancers. The festivities bring together diverse cultures, people, music styles, theatre groups and binds them all in the celebration of the Chinese New Year. More than 100,000 people are generally present to view this event and encourage the street paraders.

The parade has grown over the years and now attracts dancers and artists of an international standard. With a new and world class Canadian director directing the event, it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
