Recently Tuesday nights have become home to the Chermside Bowls Clubs weekly pool competition. Mixing a friendly, informal ambience, a full bar and 2-4-1 Meals from 5:30pm with the competition starting at 6:30pm.
It's well worthwhile to arrive early, enjoy a snack or a meal from the kitchen and then sign up to play.
All in all the night is fun, relaxed and great value for money. The competition is fun, with hustlers and pool-sharks discouraged to keep it that way. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold and all in all, a definite win with this reviewer.
