Club Chermside
The Chermside Bowls Club, or Club Chermside, plays host to the
free 888 Texas Hold'em Poker tournament on Wednesday nights, from 7pm.
While several
very good players were present last night, the rounds are friendly and beginners welcome. The playing fast paced yet supportive to those who still required a pointer or two, or even just a refresh on their memory.

Club Chermside is a great venue, in my opinion, not at all pretentious, possessing subtle charms and all of the necessary elements for a great night out.
I hadn't played Hold'em for many years and this was a really fun way to get back into it. 888 Poker have both live games across Australia, in various venues and
online play for both
real money and pretend. Currently the
website is offering $8.00 of real money for signing up and the online format is not only safe and secure but also user-friendly.
While it is always best to arrive a little early to sign on, why not grab a meal at the dining hall, a drink and the bar and enjoy the view on the wrap around balcony overlooking the lawn bowls greens. The Jukebox is requires no coin, which is an awesome feature of any place to drink and eat and the pool tables, food and atmosphere will make for a really good night out, even if you leave the poker to the rest.

Queensland and is only a short drive north along Gympie Road, from the City.
