At WeekendNotes we obviously love our Saturday and Sunday fun – but what about Tuesday, that difficult day of the week, when Friday still seems so far away, pay day hasn't yet come and the coffers are running empty from the previous weekend's recreation? A little bit of budget-wise amusement is in order, and luckily, Adelaide is more than accommodating with plenty of cheap Tuesday deals. Here are some of the best:



Delicacy Deals
If you don't want to compromise on little luxuries, but you don't want to pay full price for them either, head to The Oyster Bar on East Terrace on a Tuesday and get 30% off the price of any oyster dish.

Big Screen on a Budget
The Wallis Cinemas in Mitcham offer $10 adult movie tickets on Tuesdays (usually $17), making it a great time to catch a new flick for less.

Pay Less at the Pub
Coopers Alehouse on Pulteney St fixes your hunger and your thirst for cheap stuff on Tuesdays, with $5 pints of Coopers at the bar between 5pm and 7pm, and squid with a glass of sauvignon blanc for just $15.

Trivial Tuesdays
On Tuesday nights at The British Hotel in Port Adelaide, you can not only save money – you can win a prize. Test your general knowledge with some free-entry pub trivia from 7:30pm every week.



Margaritas for Misers
Get a jug of Sauza Margarita at Crown & Sceptre on King William St for just $25 on Tuesdays. Follow it up with a schnitzel, chicken breast or Angus steak with beer-battered fries and salad for $10.
