Christmas is my favourite time of the year, but it would be a heck lot better if I was a millionaire. Buying gifts can be a struggle, especially when you calculate everyone you have to buy for - family, friends, boyfriend (boyfriend's family), co-workers and my pets (does the list ever end?). I'm not a creative person, so making a gift is out, unless someone wanted a flipbook of stick figures or a paddle pop stick. I never want to be known as a stingy present giver, so over the years I've really taken it upon myself to find options that mean I give great gifts and can still afford my phone bill.

1. Strawberry.net

What girl doesn't love perfume and beauty products? What gift giver doesn't love free shipping and discounted prices on high end products? As a loyal customer of Strawberry.net , I can guarantee great service and fast shipping. If you spend over a set amount, they sometimes offer a free gift and for new customer, you do receive a free gift. I know I will be doing at least half my shopping from this brilliant website.

2. Target, Kmart and Big W

I've always been Target's number 1 supporter and then out of nowhere, a few years back, Kmart and Big W caught up, offering fantastically cheap prices on most of their products. You are bound to find a few bargains and gifts people want and love.

3. Dan Murphy's

Alcohol is an easy and great gift to give this Christmas. However, there is a large difference in prices when you go to a popular alcohol corner store shop, to Dan Murphy's. In my opinion Dan Murphy's is one of the cheapest places to buy alcohol and stocks large varieties.

4. Scratchies and Movie Vouchers

You can't go past movie tickets and scratchies. Most people love them and you only need to buy what you can afford. Also the fabulous thing about scratchies is it can turn into the most expensive gift they have ever received, if they win!

5. $2 Stores

They are the best for gag gifts that don't cost a fortune. Some discount shops have hidden treasures just waiting to be found. I'm lucky I have some kooky friends, so skull statues and scrap booking stickers, is a awesome finish to gift.
