The perfect place to get away for a weekend or a few days on the Gold Coast is . If you're travelling in a group of 4 or more and want to stay close together then I suggest you check this place out. I brought my family who were visiting me at the time there to stay for my graduation (there were 6 adults and 2 toddlers) and it was absolutely perfect.

At just $280 a night (weekday, rates differ depending on date), we were treated to the penthouse. The penthouse, located on the top floor of , is a spacious 3-bedroom apartment complete with a capacious living room and large lounge, flat screen TV with Austar and a fully-equipped kitchen. The penthouse is decorated in such a way that it makes you feel as if you've truly found your ultimate beach holiday unit.

There's some great places to walk to and have a look around. From delicious bakeries, to boutique fashion stores, there are lots of things to see and do near . Located along the Gold Coast Highway in Mermaid Beach, it is also just a few minutes' walk to the beach and a short drive to the large Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and Jupiters Casino. If you're like us and want to go all over the Gold Coast to Coolangatta and then as far as Surfers, is the best spot in between it all.

The three-bedrooms are great for a family. There is one main bedroom, larger than the rest featuring a King-size bed and en suite with spa bathtub. A little walk around the penthouse and you'll reach the other two bedrooms. One with a queen size bed, and the other with two single beds. There is also a mini lounge room between these two bedrooms.

There is lots of entertaining room including a beautiful balcony with outside dining, a swimming pool with barbeque area located on the first floor in the public guest area, and indoors there are so many places to spend time together as a group.

There are other rooms on offer at too on the lower floors. They are two-bedroom units and rates range depending on the day of the week. All the units at include free parking for one car and there is also space to park in front of the building along the street.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at , it was warm, inviting and great to keep all the family together. The price was a bargain for us, if we had to stay somewhere else rooms would've been at least $100 each and we would have needed to get 3 so we were able to save some money, too. The apartments are modern and clean, definitely the most comfortable stay I've had in a while on the Gold Coast without having to pay more than $500.
