A whole week of Halloween festivities returns to Northbridge Piazza with . Running from Friday 24th October 2014, to Sunday 2nd November, 2014, this fantastic week will feature a whole range of fun, free entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy.



Proudly brought to you by the City of Perth , Carnival Macabre is a Halloween festival like no other, celebrating Halloween and the Mexican Day of the Dead. This week-long schedule of events presents an assortment of spooky thrills and chills, suitable for all ages, and plenty of chances to dress up in your favourite scary costume.

This popular, family-friendly festival promises loads of ghoulishly good fun, including Jumping Jitterbug Halloween, Hearses and Hotrods Car Show, Sinful Salsa Masquerade Ball, themed dancing and free movies, plus there will be plenty of family-friendly activities such as face painting, story-telling, an animal ark, inflatable Harry & Hogwarts Castle, the Scitech Monstrous Science Workshop, and much, much more.

As part of this years Carnival Macabre Northbridge Piazza will be screening a series of spooky, spine-tingling movies between Friday 24th October and Saturday 1st November, 2014. The free movie screenings will include:

Pan's Labyrinth on Friday 24th October,
These Final Hours on Saturday 25th October,
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and The Illusionist on Sunday 26th October,
The Troll Hunter on Wednesday 29th October,
The Imposter and Black Swan on Thursday 30th October,
Only Lovers Left Alive and The Cabin in the Woods on Friday 31st October,
Memento on Saturday 1st November.

There will also be a couple of special Halloween movie screenings for kids. Come along and see A Monster in Paris on Saturday, 25 October, at 4.30pm, or The Corpse Bride on Saturday 1st November, at 5.30pm.

So, head into the city and take part in a wonderful week that will celebrate all things spooky and other-worldly, as Northbridge becomes home to ghastly ghouls and ghosts. Participants are encouraged to dress-up during the festivities and join in the fun.
