Camping on Cockatoo Island

Sydney Harbour has been simply soaking in superlatives ever since the first people arrived.

One of the best ways to really appreciate the harbour, and have a stonking time doing it, is to camp on Cockatoo Island for a night over the summer months.

All you need is a bunch of game friends, a tent or two, sleeping bags, something to put on the BBQ, some nice riesling (and some ice to keep it cold), and perhaps some breakfast.

Then you can book tickets here, sit back, and enjoy the view.


Why? You have to do it at least once.
